This place is beautiful. If you've admired photos of sleek boutique hotels in design magazines but never thought you could afford to stay in one, you'll be extremely pleasantly surprised. The furniture and art are cool and modern while the duvets and pillows are fluffy and warm. A very comfortable place to be, and it offers both dorm and private rooms.
There is free internet access in the lobby, however, there is no bar or cafe. The hostel advertises that breakfast is available across the street, but unless you really can't bear to walk another block, the place they are referring to is best avoided. It's a Mexican restaurant unaffiliated with Miss Sophie's, so there are no special deals. It also has with suspicious pricing practices -- menus posted outside have different prices than the menu you receive inside -- and very disappointing food.
Miss Sophie's is easy to reach and quite convenient for exploring Prague's New Town area. It's on a small street called Melounouva, which is on your left as you are walking down Jecna street away from the IP Pavlova metro station. From the main train station, walk left down Wilsonova onto Mezibranzka, pass Anglicka, and make a right on Jecna (then look for the left onto Melounouva).
