Newport Hostel - William Gyles Guesthouse

We have dorm accommodations by the sea in beautiful, historic Newport, Rhode Island. Overnight rates start at $16 per bed per night including self-serve breakfast (seasonal rate). The hostel is open 24 hours a day 360 days per year.

While you're in town visit one of the glorious mansions of the Gilded Age, go on a self-guided walking tour of Colonial Newport, or stroll along one of the areas lovely beaches.

The hostel is located in the heart of Newport's thriving waterfront and nightlife in a newly renovated historic home known as the William Gyles House. The address is 16 Howard St. Discount tickets are available to selected historic sites. Free Internet and free parking are nearby.

The dining room/common room is packed with Newport and travel information and other reading materials. The modern common kitchen is equipped with essentials.

This hostel is owned and operated by former manager of the HI-AYH Boston Youth Hostel, Merrilee Zellner.
