Tight
This hostel was great. The breakfast was lovely and the staff was helpful and kind. I recommend staying at this hostel, especially due to its central location. It was clean and comfortable place in a welcoming city of Montreal.

Great Hostel
We've stayed for two nights in this very friendly hostel in Montreal. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location of the hostel is great -- in the middle of town and next to St. Denis street, where lots of nice bars and restaurants are located. We've stayed in the private room with our own bathroom. The room is small, but clean and it isn't expensive.

Our room was situated in the souterrain, which made it quite dark, but also comfortably cool in july. The (en-suite) room was simple but quite nice looking and really clean. The only thing to complain about was the (so called) double bed, which was really small (both narrow and short). The staff was really very friendly and helpful, the kitchen tidy and well equipped.

We have stayed here a few times over the past few years. we really enjoy the place, it is centraly located, clean, quite and comfortable. The prices aren't too bad either. If you are travelling with two to three people we recommend checking out the private rooms, they are really nice.

I have stayed here three times over the course of a couple of years, and I've had good experiences all those times. The people at the desk are friendly. (If initially a little cool, they warm up with conversation and switch happily from French to English if you need them to.) They often have a wry sense of humor. The rooms themselves are quite clean and neat, brightly painted and warm. A slight gripe is that sometimes it's hard to find a bathroom. But the price is great for what is offered, and the hostel is really centrally located. I totally recommend it.
