Talk about a room with a view! The Pella Inn hostel has the most amazing view of the Acropolis that you could ask for. And at night, when it is all lit up, it's simply breathtaking.
Pella's staff are super friendly, more than happy to give you directions to anywhere you could want to go. They even have little maps that they'll markup with the best route to take.
The rooms are nice and clean. It has mostly doubles, triples, and quads, but they do have a few dorms available. The bathrooms were also very nice and clean, with plenty of hot water. The shower head is the type that hangs down, but it's a small price to pay.
Sadly, no breakfast was included here. However, the prices in Athens make it an acceptable trade off ($1.50 Gyros!).
Aside from the view, the hostel is also a very quick walk to the Acropolis, so if that's your main reason for visiting Athens, this may be the perfect hostel for you. In fact, it's a pretty quick walk to many of the attractions in the city including the newly reopened National Archeological Museum, which cannot be recommended enough.
