| Lieu | •The hostel is located near the historic part of freiburg and easy to reach. • 15 minutes walking distance from the main station: • From the Freiburg-Hauptbahnhof (mainstation) walk to the pedestrian and streetcar bridge that spans over the tracks and take it left. The bridge heads into the 'Bertoldstrasse'. Follow the 'Bertoldstrasse' straight through the city center. At one point it turns into the 'Salzstrasse', keep going straight until you go through the 'Schwabentor' (old tower building where 'Salzstrasse' meets ‘ Schwabentorring' ) . After passing through the gate, cross the street so that you are on the other side of the 'Schwabentorring'. Head down this street and take the next left, 'Kartäuserstrasse'. Go about 200 m and the • ' Black Forest Hostel' n° 33 will be on your left, the yellow house in the back courtyard. • By streetcar: • From the Freiburg-Hauptbahnhof the streetcar stop is on the bridge that spans over the tracks. Take the n°1 towards 'Littenweiler', get out at 'Oberlinden' . This is the stop at the 'Schwabentor', take the walking directions from there. • By car: • Take the 'Freiburg-Mitte' exit from the A5 freeway and follow the signs towards 'Freiburg-Mitte/Neustadt-Titisee' (B31). Keep going straight, you will be taken directly into town. In Freiburg the street turns into 'Lessingstrasse' then 'Schillerstrasse'. From 'Schillerstrasse' take a left onto 'Schwabentorring'. Take the next right onto 'Kartäuserstrasse' and go about 200 m. The Black Forest Hostel n° 33 is on the left, in the back courtyard. • Wegbeschreibung zum Black Forest Hostel • Zu Fuß (15 Minuten vom HBF): • Vom Hauptbahnhof-Hauptausgang rechts zur nächsten Ampel- dort geht es auf die andere Straßenseite in die 'Bertoldstrasse', in die auch die Straßenbahnbrücke hineinführt. Immer geradeaus, dann ändert sich der Straßenname in 'Salzstrasse', dennoch weiter geradeaus bis zum 'Schwabentor' hindurch. Dann kommt unmittelbar eine weitere Ampel, über die geht's hinüber bis auf die andere Straßenseite und rechts entlang den 'Schwabentorring'. Die Nächste links in die 'Kartäuserstrasse' abbiegen. Nach ca. 200 m links liegt ein gelbes Haus im Hinterhof, n°33, das Black Forest Hostel. • Mit der Straßenbahn: • Vom Hauptbahnhof auf die Straßenbahnbrücke, mit der Linie 1 Richtung 'Littenweiler' bis zur Haltestelle 'Oberlinden'. Dort ist dass 'Schwabentor', von hier an der Wegbeschreibung ab 'Schwabentor' wie oben folgen. • Mit dem Auto: • Die Ausfahrt 'Freiburg-Mitte Richtung Neustadt-Titisee' (B31). Geradeaus, dann ändert sich der Straßenname in Lessingstrasse bzw. Schillerstrasse, links auf den 'Schwabentorring' und die nächste rechts in die 'Kartäuserstrasse', nach ca. 200 m links liegt dass Hostel, n° 33, ein gelbes Haus im Hinterhof. |
