Thor Town is a clean, family friendly, home hostel located just 2 blocks from the waterfront and 8 blocks from the downtown ferry and bus terminals.
Hours: Normal check in is from 5 to 9 pm. However, as there are no lockout hours at Thor Town, you are welcome to use the common areas of the hostel if you arrive earlier in the day. If you plan on arriving after 9pm, simply let us know and we will be happy to make arrangements. Check out is at 12 noon.

Free parking: Abundant parking is available on the street in front of the hostel.
Internet: Self service internet access is available 24/7 at $1.00 per hour.
Laundry: $1.00 to wash, detergent included. $1.00 to machine dry. A clothesline and clothespins are available for free if you choose the conservationist's lo-tech method.
Comprehensive transportation information: For getting around the Olympic peninsula and neighboring regions, check out our "Getting THERE!" link. At the hostel, we maintain a ride board to help travelers pool rides. ***T-S***
Bike rentals: We have good quality TREK Mountain Bikes for rent for $8.00 per day or $4.00 for a half day. There are several quiet country roads as well as the Olympic Discovery Trail accessible just outside Port Angeles. Additionally, we encourage you to use our bikes in combination with the public buses of Clallam transit to venture further a field. Suggested routes are included in our "Activities" link. For runs to the supermarket or downtown shops, Thor Town has a one speed cruiser available for free use.
