Also known as the Nolichucky Vortex, Uncle Johnny's Nolichucky Hostel is enjoyed year round by hostel travelers, hikers, boaters, rafters, fishing enthusiasts, race fans, bikers and skiers. Our cozy oasis is located only 68 feet from the Appalachian Trail and 70 feet from the scenic free-flowing Nolichucky River. But practically in the town of Erwin Tennessee. A village where services are reasonably priced, no crowds or traffic jams. Our 9 person coed dorm room and private cabins sleep a total of 28 guest. A centrally located restroom contains 5 showers and 5 toilets with privacy doors. And we never run out of hot water. We have kayaks, canoes and tube rentals at discounted rates for our guest. And free bicycles.
