Auberge du boudumonde

L'Auberge du boutdumonde is a small youth hostel situated on the plateaux of L'Anse-Saint-Jean, a beautiful town in the Saguenay Area (Quebec, Canada). The hostel is the original house of an intentional community that was founded in the 1970s, which explains its very special architecture and atmosphere. Since it is a bit aside from town, it is a very quiet place surrounded by nature. There are also many possibilities for outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, horseback riding, sailing, swimming, fishing, hunting, kayaking, cruising, snowshoeing, bicycling, skiing, ice fishing, etc. We have room for up to 15 people in 3 dormitories and 2 private rooms. Our visitors will benefit from an array of services and amenities: a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, showers, a telephone, and internet. Environmentally-minded people will also be pleased by the quality of our ecological footprint. We rent bicycles and snowshoes.
