Description

Located on 10 acres at the edge of Strathcona Park in the beautiful Comox Valley. A unique hostel set on the hiking and cycling trails and surrounded by woodland, lake, river with waterfalls offers excellent swimming in the summer. Only 10 minutes to downtown Courtenay or the base of Mt. Washington for skiing, boarding and great winter fun in the snow. The hostel offers a comfortable, cozy and quiet atmosphere where the weary traveller can relax and regain energy sitting by a campfire or in a deck chair. There are private and shared rooms ( no big dorms), full kitchen, laundry and t.v. lounge. In the summer we tenting is available. Groups are welcome. A stay at the Lake Trail Guesthouse is a true British Columbia experience and a hike in the woods with our family of dogs is an adventure! Come relax and enjoy the islands incredible beauty !

Lieu	•We are on the hiking and cycling trails of the beautiful Comox Valley. The Lake Trail Guesthouse is located at 4787 Lake Trail Road. If you are driving - go to downtown Courtenay - 5th Street and then head towards the mountains (west) up 5th Street to the end. You will come to a big school - Lake Trail School - make a right at Lake Trail Road and take it 6k out to the hostel. After about 4k there will be a stop sign - go another 2k and you will see us. We are the only place out here in the woods. • We offer pick-up at the bus, train or airport in Courtenay. Reservations required.
