Gabriel's is a great "unique" backpacker formula among centric and quiet downtown corso zone - renting private rooms, apartments & dormitories. We are near ***** Hotel Carlton, **** Hotel Devín, * Hotel Danube, *** Hotel Perugia, **** Hotel Forum and one minute from the river Danube.

GABRIEL HOSTEL use to be really the first licenced place like GUESTHOUSE or HOSTEL in Bratislava. After 5 years of travel work also as business partner of The Lonely Planet and many different tourist sending companies.
Today's Bratislava and Slovakia has more backpacker's points. You can see our place quality on pictures. Our Corzo Zone has no Disneyland's suprices. We have budget gastronomy and cultural party-life. There is charte-disco, techno, salsa, rock or jazz. Especially on Fridays and Saturdays is everything full. Gabriel's is a small budget place well situated in a splendid location next to the National Theatre and luxury hotels like Carlton Hotel or Danube, 10 minutes from the Castle one minute from river Danube. Walking distance to the Main (Central) railway station is about 20 minutes. The same time from us is Petržalka Train Station.
Gabriel's is located as a part of residental house (newly renovated historical building). Searching us without directions for the first time is for some people a little problem. We recommanded carefully follow our directions, please let us know by e-mail or phone your approximatelly planed arrival time (day and hour).
Fluently English speaking owner Mr. Gabriel is nice. He could be later good as info-source about local life and where to go young backpekers.

Public trasnport operate from 5 a.m. untill 11 p.m. Buy tickets for you and your lugage for 30 minutes ( fair is 18 and 9 Slovak koruna) in kiosk with newspapers or in yellow ticket machines .Take tram take tram #1 to Obchodna street (6 stops) or bus #81,#93 (3 stops). Continue through pedesterian area in direction Carlton Hotel. Enter passage Hugo Boss Shop (Paulinyho number 1) and JOOP! Shop, enter second glass door on left side and than go upstairs to the top where is entrance to the Gabriel's. Please contact us by call +421 903 783333 or from telephone box 0903 783333.
