A Typical Casa Verde Guest:
Our guests want to be able to enjoy the Caribbean lifestyle and sunbathe, swim, snorkel or relax in a shaded hammock over the water without having to pack up and leave the hostel. That's why they come to Casa Verde which is the only hostel located over the water in beautiful Bocas del Toro Panama. To be honest, it's really more of a guest house, because you feel so at home. Our kitchen is fully equipped and we have a bbq pit and free charcoal. Our guests are often between the ages of 20 and 40 and all are interested in experiencing the laid back vibe of Casa Verde
What makes Casa Verde Unique:
You can swim right from our dock in search of starfish and coral, hang out with new friends in our waterfront tiki hut with our ipod jam box and take in views of the bay, marina, the mountains, ferry dock, and Volcano Baru - Panama's highest peak. We are in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything Bocas has to offer. We are a stones' throw from the Spanish School. Restaurants, bars and shops are just a short walk from your door. We also can provide you with customized boat tours and can make arrangements for any other tour you would like including real estate, around Bocas Town, and the San Blas Islands. Bocas offers incredible surfing, diving and snorkeling as well as a tropical jungle that is safe to explore.
Our house is not a "party house" per se - we love to have a good time, but recognize the importance of having a refuge where you can get a good nights sleep. Our beds are orthopedic and come with air-conditioning - something not usually found in hostels in Bocas. The community kitchen is one of the best in Panama-just be sure to clean up after each meal. You also get your own fridge in your room so you don't have to worry about someone "sampling" your leftovers from the community fridge. Finally, our staff is very knowledgeable and has your best interests at heart. Feel free to ask them about anything that comes to mind.
Because we are a smaller guest house, we're able to take better care of you on an individual basis which helps you feel at home and ensure you have a better time.

| Lieu | Casa Verde is located on the South end of town, two houses away from the ferry dock in the quiet area of Bocas Town. From the airport you can take a taxi or a 10 minute walk to our house. Exit straight out of the airport gate and continue walking down the street. When you reach 4th street turn right and walk until the street ends. At that point you are directly in front of Casa Verde. From the water taxi stations simply turn left and follow main street until it curves to the right at the ferry dock. Casa Verde is the 2nd house on the left. We are a 3 minute walk from Bocas Marine Tours and a 5 minute walk from Taxi 25. You may also ask us to meet you at either the airport or the taxi stations and we will be happy to accomodate you. |
