Proconsolo Rooms is centrally located between two main squares (Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Signoria). Our charming pensione has frescoed ceilings, 15th century chandeliers and a central living room where you can meet friends and relax.
It is within easy walking distance of the Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, the Accademia and the main shoping area. The rooms are tastefully decorated and provide a pleasant atmosphere for individual travellers or families. Large groups may choose to rent the entire appartment.
Florence was the birth place of the Renaissance and is home to some of the most beautiful works of art in the world. You can see the famous cathedral, the Duomo; Michelagelo's sculpture, David; the Uffizi Galerry and the Piazza della Signoriasite of original 'Bonefire of the Vanities'.
Don't forget to shop for gold on the Ponte Vechio, visit Michelangelo's tomb at the church of Santa Croce, grab an ice-cream at the world famous Vivoli gelateria, pay homage to the Medici family at the Pitti Palace and stroll the grounds of the fabulous Boboli gardens.
