Wild Spirit Lodge & Backpackers

Wild Spirit is hosted by Khoinania in The Crags, close to Nature's Valley, on the border of the Tsitsikamma National Park. This Backpacker Lodge makes a great place to explore the heart of the Garden Route. Khoinania is a beautiful farm that overlooks the stunning Tsitsikamma mountains and valleys. Come and spend some time with our family and our three horses and two/three/four dogs who are just waiting to bound up and welcome you!

We offer various types of accomodation from beautifully painted double ensuite rooms, large and spacious dorms, or the alternative of camping under the stars.

There are many exciting things to do on our farm and in the surrounding area, from FREE sunset drives through the forests to Bobbejaans Kloof, to the Worlds Highest Bungee at Bloukrans! Check out the great hikes next door in the National Park.

Nature's Valley is the end of the 5 day Otter's Trail hike starting in Storm's River. Wild Spirit is the perfect place to unwind and rest after the challenge of the hike. We can arrange for Pick ups and Drop offs at the start and finish!

Dinner (R60) is available come the evenings, we will cook up a delicous dish for everyone to enjoy.
Breakfast (R30) is served 8am to 10am. Cereals, Toast, Preserves, Eggs and Tomatoes, and Fresh Fruit can all be enjoyed on our deck.
For Lunch there is Nature's Way Farmstall just a 15 minute walk away, or you can take one of our bikes for free. Enjoy some of their freshly prepared sandwiches, and taste some of thier home made cheeses. There are also two good resturants within a ten minute drive.

Double and Twin ensuite rooms - R350 (High Season: R400)
Our Double and Twin rooms all come with their own en-suite bathroom and shared living room with deck overlooking the National Park. They are situated on the groundfloor of one of our 3 cottages.

Don't like a dorm? Want some more privacy? Spend the night in our 2 room Safaritent in a shaded area in our garden. Only R 250 for 2 persons sharing.



Spacious 8 bed Dorm Rooms with ensuite - R110 per person (High Season: R120)
Our Dorm rooms are large and spacious with balconies that overlook the stunning mountains and valleys of the Tsitsikamma National Park. The best thing about our dorms? NO BUNKBEDS! They are situated on the first floor of our cottages and have their own private outside stairway.

Family Room 5 people)- R700 (High Season R 800)
Our very large and spacious family room is ideal for familys or groups of five people, with it's own balcony and en-suite bathroom. The Family room is located on the first floor of one of our 3 cottages and has it's own outside stairway.

Camping - R60 per person (High Season R80)
Pitch your tent in our campsite and fall asleep under the stars.
