• Travel to the area is easy and can be done in a number of different ways. Regularly scheduled air service is available through Sansa Airlines; the flight takes 20 minutes. It is a three and a half hour, or more, drive by car or bus from San José depending on the weather and traffic.
• Direct buses leave from Trascopa bus terminal in San José (calle 5 between avenidas 18 and 20) at 6am, 9am, 12pm, 2.30pm, 6pm and 7.30pm. These are large, comfortable Mercedes buses. The cost is about 4500 colones, $9.
• Ask the busdriver to stop at the soccer field in Manuel Antonio and we are located just on the right-hand side.
• If you are renting a car, it is advisable to rent a 4X4 vehicle if you are traveling to remote sections of Costa Rica like the Osa or Nicoya Peninsulas.
• If you are in Quepos, the local bus runs from the Quepos bus station to Manuel Antonio every 20-30 minutes during the day and every hour after dark. The bus fare is 385 colones, about $0.65USD. Keep your eyes open for the Manuel Antonio football field. We're right across the road (right-hand side) with a big sign--easy to find. Follow the arrow pointing down the stairs to get to reception.
