The hostel is ideally located in the centre of Mataro surrounded by all kind of services: pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, clubs, etc.
Universal backpackers hostel is a building totally restored and offer the best facilities to make your accomodation pleasant and comfortable.
Clean bedding is provided and there is no curfew. The hostel is open troughout the year. Individual backpackers and groups are equally welcome.
Our friendly staff will be able to point you in the direction of all the city´s attractions and give advice on the best places to go.
Mataró is located between Barcelona and Costa Brava. Very well comunicated by bus, train and bus. Forty minuts from Barcelona Airport and hour from Girona Airport.
If you come to a cosmopolitan place like Mataro, you are going to enjoy a big cultural and natural heritage. Two universities, museums, theater, cinema and there is a ample opportunity to sail, wind surf, dive, bicycle, hiking in a protected natural park called "Montnegre y corredor".
Mataró is the biggest city from Maresme there a lot of restaurants to suit every taste and pocket and clubs with live music, discotheques, pubs and beach clubs.
