Deplorable, horriffic filth!
Some of my things were eaten by mice (no I didn't have food in my bag) -- droppings all over the room. They reeked of old moldy carpet and stench. I didn't even want to sit on the couches in the lounge. Breakfast if you call it that was basically expired crap. Stale cereal, milk, OJ, apple, and that's about it. I stayed there and left a night early slept in the airport for ten hours rather than to stay there one more night. Spend a bit more money and go elsewhere.

Awesome
I have been to this hostel two years ago, and I had such a great time, even though it was pretty dirty, and didn't have the best location. I have had some great memories of the five days I've spend there with my friends, I want to go back someday, just because of that. also a good thing was that the subway was just across the street.

I loved this hostel for all three days spent there two years ago. You can listen to or play if you can the guitar downstairs and talk with people from around the world. It's real fun.

I never stayed in a worse place! I did not achieve to stay for more than a night, I needed to change for another one hostel, as well the place was dirty, the breakfast was terrible, the receptionist was worse, beyond the dirt in the floor, still had remaining portions of drugs. Never more I will come back!

We arrived at the hostel in winter (January) the room was dirty, you could see the grease on the windows, cold, taking under consideration it was winter i advise to take coldrex or aspirine with you cause you might get ill. The advert says they have free shuttle bus, well yes but unfortunately it couldn't make it to pick us up. Summing up, don't bother, there are better places to stay.

This was honestly the most fun I have ever had at a hostel. The location isnt the prettiest part of town, but its so close to the metro. The staff is excellent -- I made friends for life. They have parties in the lounge at night, free breakfast, and the best part was there is always a security guy at the door. Want a cheap, clean friendly place to stay? This place was the best.

It was very nice experience to be on a visit to the hostel and to meet such nice guy like Jimmy from security.

I had the most fun ever in this hostel. it was so gross but so much fun. I mean the hostel had a genius place, in the ghetto next to a graveyard. It was, well, dirty, with a really really poor breakfast (toast with warm strawberry jam) and a wardrobe like shower. but I had a great time anyway. I still just give them one star cause it was still a rubbish hostel.

I can't say anything positive about this hostel. The breakfast was really bad, the beds were uncomfortable, the aroma in the hostel was disgusting, and the showers were dirty. No good words for them!

We had a great time, and the hostel was just as it should be!

The hotel was very disgusting. I stayed there with my school. The windows did not open. The shower smells like hell. There is a cemetery outside. The breakfast was not much and the jam was very dirty. I won't ever come back, ever. It was nice that there was a subway near the hotel.

I found the hotel terrible. The beds felt like they could break at any minute, so we slept on the floor for safety reasons. The windows did not open. The breakfast was moldy. The mattresses were moldy. It is loud because you are on a main road. The Web site said it was near Notting Hill, but when I got off the tube at Kensal Green, it wasn't near anything at all. The hotel is directly beside a cemetery. Never EVER, EVER stay here. Ever.

This hotel was really CHEAP. We stayed for a week and on the first night the curtains fell off!! The mirror was even smaller than my face and the toilets couldn't close!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were DISGUSTING. The only things I liked were the music and the other guests.

I spent three months there (more or less) and I learned a lot about life and human behavior. It may be hard for some people, and it was for me, too, at the beginning, but if you know how to behave and with whom, you'll enjoy it a lot. And for the price you pay, you can't expect too much comfort, but for the rest, it's very good!!! I hope to visit you again some day!!!

I stayed for a week here then left and came back a month later. The staff remembered me when I came back for the second time. They were extremely nice and accommodating considering there are 300+ travelers they must take care of at a given time. The breakfast was good. However, the milk was warm. They came in every day to clean the room and empty the trash and the view of the cemetary was actually beautiful. Overall a great steal at 10 pounds a night. One drawback - they are popular for school field trips and my whole stay there I had fairly large groups of school children running around my hall (where were the teachers?).
