• From Tokyo:
• There are two options from Tokyo.
• 1, Take the Chuo Expressway to the Okaya J.C.T. and head towards Nagano on the Nagano Expressway. Exit at the Toyoshina Interchange and follow Rt. 147 & 148 through Omachi and onto Hakuba. Pass 3 lakes, Sanosaka Ski Field ,pass the Hakuba Michinoeki 'Yume Hakuba' ,then turn left at the next intersection 'HakubaGoryu' , drive pass the railway cross , and drive another 50m to our hostel. The big wind mill is the sign. It takes 4hrs.
• 2, Take the Kanetsu Expressway to the Fujioka J.C.T. and head towards Nagano on the Joshinetsu Expressway. Exit at the Nagano Interchange and follow the Hakuba Nagano Olympic Road to Hakuba,
• Pass the Tunnel, the Hakuba Sansan park on the left side, drive another 100m and turn right at Hakuba Goryu Intersection. (next to a small river) , pass Rt 148 , and a railway, then drive 50m to our hostel. The big wind mill is the sign. It takes 4hrs.
• From Nagoya:
• Take the Chuo Expressway to the Okaya J.C.T. and head towards Nagano on Nagano Expressway. Exit at the Toyoshina Interchange and follow Rt 147&148 through Omachi and onto Hakuba.
• Pass the 3 lakes, Sanosaka ski field , the Hakuba Michinoeki 'Yume Hakuba' ,
• turn left at the next intersection 'HakubaGoryu' , drive pass the railway cross , and drive another 50m to our hostel. The big wind mill is the sign. It takes 3.30hrs.
• From Osaka or Kyoto:
• Take the Meishin Expressway to the Komaki J.C.T.
• head up the Chuo Expressway to the Okaya J.C.T. and head towards Nagano on the Nagano Expressway .Exit at the Toyoshina Interchange and follow Rt 147&148 through Omachi and onto Hakuba.
• Pass the 3 lakes, Sanosaka ski field , the Hakuba Michinoeki 'Yume Hakuba' ,
• turn left at the next intersection 'HakubaGoryu' , drive pass the railway cross , and drive another 50m to our hostel. The big wind mill is the sign. It takes 5.30hrs.
• *Remember to bring chains in winter and make sure you radiator is freeze proof.
• By Train:
• ----------------
• From Tokyo:
• Departing Tokyo station to Nagano, by Asama Shinkansen, 1.30hrs.
• Scheduled buses operate regularly between Nagano station and Hakuba.The nearest bus stop is Goryu.
• When you get off the bus, you are on Chikuni St. (Chikuni Kaido, Route 148). Walk south until Hakuba-Goryu Intersection and turn right. Walk pass the rail track and keep walking straight until you see us on the right side of the road.
• From Shinjuku Station in Tokyo:
• The Azusa and super Azusa limited express services are available from Shinjuku to Matsumoto. A few of them run directly to Hakuba.
• If the train doesn't go directly to Hakuba, switch to JR Ooito line at Matsumoto Station. Get off at Kamishiro Station, 2 stops before Hakuba Station.
• After getting out the exit of Kamishiro Station, walk straight ahead (north direction) to Chikuni St. (Chikuni Kaido, Route 148), and turn right. Walk until Hakuba-Goryu Intersection and turn right. Walk pass the rail track and keep walking straight until you see us on the right side of the road.
• From Nagoya :
• Catch the Chuo limited(Shinano) departs from Nagoya Station and travels to Hakuba via Matsumoto. From Matsumoto, please refer to the directions from Shinjuku, Tokyo.
• From Osaka:
• Please get on a bullet train to Nagoya, then follow the above directions from Nagoya.
• By Bus

• From Shinjuku
• A highway bus is avialable from Shinjuku to Hakuba. Get off at Goryu Bus Stop.
• From Nagoya
• A highway bus is avialable from Nagoya to Matsumoto.
• From Matsumoto, take a train on JR Ooito line at Mastumoto station.
• From Osaka
• A highway bus is avialable from Osaka to Mastumoto. From Matsumoto, take a train on JR Ooito line at Mastumoto station.
• In winter season, ski buses are available from Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya. Please check with a travel agency.
