Franschhoek Traveller’s Lodge & Group Accommodation is situated in the heart of Franschhoek. The guesthouse is housed in an historic, century old, hostel of the Franschhoek High School. Because of the nature of the accommodation available, we are able to offer affordable accommodation for Traveller’s as well as large groups, such as school, church or sports groups. Our set-up is also suitable for conferences. If the group is too large for our conference centre, or special needs are evident, then we can make use of the gymnasium of the school.
We have 22 rooms, with 70 beds. The rooms are configured to have either 2, 4, 6, or 8 beds. In this way a sports team, for instance can be housed in the series of 4–bed rooms, while their adult supervisors can have a more private room.
We can now offer 5 double bed en suite rooms as well as two family unit that can sleep four or five with its own kitchen and bathroom.
We also accommodate family groups.
Most groups hire our kitchen, to do their own catering.
If required we do cater for large groups.

Location
• From Cape Town International Airport (1Hour)
• On leaving the Airport make your way firstly to the N2 by following the signs towards Somerset West. Once on the N2 take the left off ramp onto the R300. The R300 will then lead onto the N1 towards Paarl. Proceed along the N1 until you get to the Paarl exit (Exit 55).
• As you come off the N1 you must turn right under the freeway. You will see a sign that reads "Main Road/Franschhoek"
• About a kilometre further on turn left at a sign reading 'R45 Franschhoek'.
• It is now about 30 km to Franschhoek.
• Once you enter Franschhoek you will pass the NG Church, City Hall and a small shopping centre all on your left. At the Post office, also on your left, turn left into Reservoir Street.
• You will then cross over Dirkie Uys Street and Akademie Street before turning into our car park at the white gate poles. We are on the corner of Reservoir and Akademie Streets.
