The Old Port Hostel, Guangzhou

The best way to get here is by metro. If you are coming from the central train station, anywhere in Guangzhou is quite far as its located in North Guangzhou. The best train station to arrive to is Guangzhou East. Regardless take the metro to Wanshengwei 万胜围 which is at the interchange of line 8 and line 4. From there leave at Exit B and take a golf cart shuttle bus to the village (not always operational) or ride the bus 229 (from the same side of the road) for 5 minutes (to the end of the line - 4 stops maximum). After you arrive at the village, walk straight down the road and turn right at the bakery. Continue down this road and turn left when you see the entrance to the walking street and Old Port area. We are just on your left 25 metres down.
