We are a socially responsible hostel in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We offer convenient and safe accommodation for a reasonable price. As a social contribution we invest our profits into the help2kids children's home and educational projects.
Our guest house is located outside of the city center of Dar es Salaam in a safe and quiet neighborhood. With our large garden and community areas we offer a relaxed place to recover after a hectic and hot day in downtown Dar es Salaam, or a nice stop before heading to Kili or Zanzibar.
We are also the home of up to 10 volunteers who support projects in the neighborhood (the help2kids children's home and schools). Join our community and take part of our daily adventures. We are more a home than a guest house.
All rooms are fitted with mosquito nets and fans. There is also air-conditioning in the private rooms. Drinks (water/sodas/beer) are always available for purchase in the kitchen. There is also a TV with DVD player in our community area. For a low fee WiFi internet access can be used.
If you have questions, need information or support, there is always assistance by our managers on site. We want to offer you a safe and carefree environment for your exciting new experiences in Africa.
Accommodation Information:
We have two dormitories to offer travelers with a total of 10 dorm beds. They are fully equipped with mosquito nets, fans and shelving. Each dorm has its own bathroom. We have two private rooms which are also equipped with mosquito nets, safes, closets, fans, and air-conditioning. They are ensuite with their own washrooms.
Sadly, this hostel has closed.

• Towards White Sands--once at the roundabout, stay left. Take the second right called Manyara Drive which is just past "Chase Pub" (look for signs for Vival Villa, Liberty Church, etc). Please call Jessica at +255759941848 if you encounter problems.
• Please book ahead of time as our manager arranging a taxi is always safer and more affordable.
• Our Guest House is located outside of down-town Dar es Salaam at the Africana District. It is very close to the well known White Sands Resort area, where the boats for tourists are heading off to Mbudya Island. We prefer to be outside of the city center as we are afforded more space, surrounded by a lot of greenery, and much less noise or smog. We are also conveniently closer to the help2kids projects and children's home.
