| Lieu | Mina Clavero is 170km southwest of Córdoba via RN 20, the splendid Nuevo Camino de las Altas Cumbres (Highway of the High Peaks). It sits at the confluence of Río de Los Sauces and Río Panaholma, in the Valle de Traslasierra. The bus terminal (Mitre 1191) is across the Río Mina Clavero from the town center. There are several daily buses to Córdoba (AR$20, three hours), Villa Carlos Paz (AR$14, 2½ hours) and at least three a day to Merlo (AR$17, 2½ to three hours). Minibuses to Córdoba are faster (AR$20, 2½ hours). TAC (470420) has daily service to Buenos Aires (AR$90, 13 hours). For destinations in San Juan and Mendoza, go to nearby Villa Dolores (AR$6, one hour). |
