Description
Set on the edge of the Berkshire Downs with views over the Vale of the White Horse, this is a heaven-sent base for walkers with Britain’s oldest route, the Ridgeway National Trail, just 500 metres away.
The well-maintained hostel is a collection of converted timber barns built around a courtyard. If you appreciate a hefty dose of peace then you’ll also enjoy spending time in the extensive grounds that include a beech wood conservation area.
Facilities include information point, lounge, TV, self-catering kitchen, dining room, showers, cycle store and laundry facilities.
Meals available include breakfast, picnic lunch and evening meal. Evening meals are available at 19.00 hrs.
