Quillan Casa de huéspedess   "Lacking in warmth of welcome due to absence of the hostess. - Good things first. A splendid private oasis beside the rushing river Aude with mountains as a backdrop. Truly splendid! Good food, spotless accommodation, and a knowledgeable if gabby control freak by the name of Chris. He cooks, cleans, and entertains his guests -- and does he rabbit on! All good stuff, because in addition to Mr Kenway you are charmed by the animals. Three cats, a youngish dog and a battery of hens. (I like...Friendly high class accommodation set in 2 acres of natural garden with over 80 olive trees, with magnificent views from the terrace over the town of Quillan to the hills opposite. Also from the garden there are views of the gorge Pierre Lys.
