Kontoyiannis House

This is a stone built family house located in the quiet village of Kalavasos, near the Kalavasos dam. The village is centrally located for the whole island so a good base for visiting the whole island. It can be let as a villa and will take 10 -20 people (there is a surcharge for extra persons of 10 euros per night). The one bedroom apartments can sleep 2 - 4 persons and the two bedroom apartment can sleep 4 - 8.

This is a very friendly village and the atmosphere is one of tranquillity and relaxation. There are some lovely restaurants and cafes in the village square.

Governors beach with its secluded beaches is about 10 minutes drive and Zigi fishing village with its excellent fish tavernas is about 5 minutes drive. Governors beach is great to spend the day or for an evening meal, there are quite a few restaurants along the beach.

Limassol is only 20 minutes drive, Larnaca 25 minutes, Nicosia 30 minutes and Paphos and the mountains about 1 hours drive.

We have a lovely orchard that you can visit any time, it is full of fruit all year round.
