• The nearest airport by far to the Eolian Islands is that of Reggio Calabria.
• From the airport there is a bus service from Messina with flight connections; jetfoils then proceed directly to the islands.
• Alternatively you can reach Milazzo by bus (via Messina) and continue by jetfoil from Milazzo.
• Alternative airport: Catania, offering more connections to the major European capitals.
