If Time is important and not money, then you can arrange a pick up in advance or call when your at the Bus Terminal on 7th Street and Alameda, to the shuttle service that provides good cheap transport to the LAX airport. The name of the shuttle is "Super Shuttle" and you can book it in advance, it cost about $16.00 a person in a shared van for the first 3 people, cheaper as your group grows. This shuttle will pick you up at the Greyhound Station and bring you to LAX. Then again, you can call us. Because we are so close to LAX, you may ask the driver of the shuttle if he would drop you off at our door if possible at no extra cost, then you really have it made!
