• Hotel Blue is just 10 minutes’ walk down the street from Echo Point Look-out with its world-famous views of the Three Sisters and the Blue Mountains National Park.
• Katoomba’s main street, with a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops, is just 10 minutes’ walk around the corner from Hotel Blue. Katoomba Railway Station is 15 minutes’ walk from Hotel Blue, with trains running between Sydney and Katoomba at least once an hour, 365 days a year.
• Find us at 88 Lurline Street (corner of Merriwa and Lurline Streets), centrally located in the town of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains.
• GETTING TO KATOOMBA BY CAR
• From Sydney, Katoomba is approximately 90 minutes’ drive west along the Great Western Highway (Route M4). Take the Katoomba exit (on the left) and turn left at the first round-about into Bathurst Road. Then take the second street on the right (Lurline Street). Hotel Blue will be on your left after 800 metres, at 88 Lurline Street.
• GETTING TO KATOOMBA BY TRAIN
• From Sydney Airport, take the AirTrain to Sydney Central Station (15 minutes). From Sydney Central, take any train on the Blue Mountains line, bound for Katoomba, Mt Victoria or Lithgow. Disembark at Katoomba Station (2 hours 15 minutes).
• FROM KATOOMBA STATION
• Hotel Blue is 15 minutes’ walk from Katoomba Station. Taxi cabs are also readily available. Exit the Station to the south, and you will be at the intersection of Gang Gang Street and Lurline Street. Walk along Lurline Street for 800 metres (about 15 minutes), and Hotel Blue will be on your left (at 88 Lurline Street).
• The Blue Mountains Explorer Bus is also a great way to get from Katoomba Station to Hotel Blue:

• The Explorer Bus is a tourist bus with a great live commentary about the Blue Mountains. Departing from Katoomba Station approximately every 30 minutes between 9:45 am and 4:30 pm , the bus route services all points of interest in Katoomba and Leura, including train stations, shopping and dining districts, hotels, waterfalls and scenic lookouts, including Echo Point and the Three Sisters, and Scenic World’s rides, which are a great way of taking in the spectacular views of the Mountains.
• Hotel Blue is at Stop 4.
• Your Explorer Bus ticket is valid for the duration of your stay in the Blue Mountains (up to 7 days). Tickets are $38 for adults, with concession fares available for children, students and pensioners.
• You can purchase your Explorer Bus ticket through Hotel Blue, either in advance or when you arrive in Katoomba.
