We are outdoor enthusiasts and we have created this peaceful place of comfort and adventure as a gathering place for all outdoors enthusiasts!
Harmony Outdoor Inn is a woodland retreat on the Seguin River located minutes from downtown Parry Sound, Ontario. Parry Sound is known as the jewel of the thirty thousand islands of Georgian Bay.
We've built six canvas walled luxury tents in the woods to host our guests. The tents are furnished with hand-made furniture, and left very natural.
There are two cedar lined outdoor showers for our guests use. We installed propane on demand heat so that all of our guests have enough hot water for a steaming shower at the end of the day. The toilets are outdoor composting toilets to preserve our natural environment, each tent has it's own toilet.
We made trails to the tents and kept them natural. The tents are a slight climb up, with stairs along the way, so you have to be fit and comfortable enough to walk a 4-minute trail to get to your tent. At night the paths are lit with solar lights, which makes for a magical walk to your tent in the evening.
Our guests bring their food and cook for themselves. Our latest addition, is an outdoor gathering and cooking area for our guests. It’s a walled and screened outdoor pavilion with a steel covered roof. It’s a place for our guests to gather, share a meal together and just hang out at the end of the day.
Our waterfront is on the Seguin River in Parry Sound. There’s a dock on the river and a beautiful waterfront deck that has been known to host some amazing yoga classes as well as a hammock lounging area.
We have Paddle Canada kayak and SUP instructors on site. We host a number of events, lessons and courses as well as day trips. We also have kayak and Stand Up Paddleboarding equipment to rent. We have a karma yoga class every morning on our waterfront deck. We also offer SUP yoga classes four evenings a week at our waterfront.
