The North Face Inn is a lovely place to stay if you want to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time in Pokhara away from the crowds. With a nice outside and garden area and many nice common spaces, it offers a cosy atmosphere not far from the central touristy areas.
The Location
The North Face Inn is located in the Lakeside area of Pokhara, only a short stroll away from Pewa Lake as well as from the tourist hub of the city with all its bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops. However, as it is situated on a quiet side street, the nights are completely silent and a good night's sleep is guaranteed. It is in a great location for enjoying the panoramas over Pokhara and from the top floors, a three-hundred-sixty-degree view of the lake as well as Fishtail mountain and the Annapurna range are guaranteed.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The dorm is spacious and comfortable, but without much style; apart from the bunks, one bedside table, and the lockers, it is completely empty. Also, even though it has windows all around, these look onto the concrete surface of an adjacent hotel, making the place feel a bit claustrophobic. There are electric sockets with each bed, but these are of poor quality. The dorm is en suite but the bathroom could do with some fixing; at the time of review, the curtain frame is broken and neither toilet paper nor water hoses are provided. Also, to flush the toilet, the tank has to be filled manually.
Common Spaces
The common areas are nice and give the place a relaxing atmosphere. There is a big garden with colourful plants and fruit trees, a swinging bed, a darts area as well as a separate terrace for eating and an indoors chilling area as well. Besides, on almost every floor, there is a separate common area with comfy, cushioned furniture. There is also a library corner and many tourist brochures are available on the surrounding attractions.
Summary
All in all, The North Face Inn is a good choice if you would like to enjoy high quality for a cheap price. However, it seems that there is more attention dedicated to the maintenance of the common and outer areas than the room itself, which is something to be taken into consideration before booking.

The North face inn is located center part of the lakeside area but it is not in the main street. It is Two Hundred meters inside the lane from famous 7/ eleven and Funky Salsa restaurants near Standard Chartered bank.
