"It's a very clean (really spotless) backpackers. Actually it's sometimes intimidating for its tidiness (the dorm beds too are made every day}. The common room is right next to the common kitchen, and it's side by side to the in-house bar. It looks a bit like "granny's cottage" with silverware and lace curtains too, but it's very warm and the couch is just about the best place to watch a video and relax. "This is not an average backpackers by any means. One does feel like one is at an up market resort rather than a backpackers' hostel. We opted for the self-catering cottage option, and found it very comfortable. Some in our party didn't like the rather dark showers with their odd cobbled floors and voyeuristic baboon spiders, but the lovely grounds and pleasant swimming area made up for the showers.
