Highlander Hostel is conveniently located right on High Street, in the pedestrian section of town. It's a short walk from the bus and train station, about ten minutes. Once you've figured out how to get around, Inverness is an easy city to manage. The bus ticket office can give you a map. Directions from the bus station -- walk down Margaret Street to Academy Street and turn... "Fab place, very clean. There's only a few showers... but hey I never had to wait for anyone. For the ones who were waiting, there were chairs!!! The people were very nice, especially the blondish girl at reception. It also has a fabulous kitchen that allows some real cooking. At times there is a lack of hot water so need to shower nice and quick. It does really only cater for groups rather than individual travellers.
With home made meals you really can't go wrong and another fine example of Scottish hospitality."...
