"The Killin Youth Hostel is situated on the edge of the village opposite the caravan park. It's a good ten- to fifteen-minute walk into town past beautiful old stone houses. The hostel is also an old Victorian two-story house that is fairly modern inside. It is neat and clean enough but seems to lack a homey, lived-in feel. The common areas are large with lots of seating and plenty of space for cooking. The kitchen has a lot of some things, like teapots, but is missing some necessities such as a usable can opener.
