Set on the wild west coast in a quaint village of 35 residents, this hostel has lots of character and a cosy atmosphere. Coin-showers across the street at the campground. Out of the way location makes this place very special with the roaring Tasman Sea on one side and majestic views of the Southern Alps on the other side. Sans clouds if you are lucky. It's one of my favorite "off the beaten path" places in New Zealand. — Dave
