"Penny's Backpackers is a BBH hostel in Dunedin. It's located three blocks from the Octagon, which is where all the action is, and it's within walking distance of the bus/train station too -- although the hostel does offer free pickups most of the time too. "Fantastic!!!" … "The place gives a bit of a creepy feeling when you first walk in and hear about it being a former hospital, and of course — the ghost. "Kiwi's Nest is a warm, friendly hostel, reminiscent of a homestay. It is well located eight blocks from the Octagon, the center of Dunedin, and just down the road from the University of Otago.
