"Clean and cosy hostel - We stayed here one night in August '07 after arriving from Germany. Our family room was very spacious and the hostel owner was very nice. We couldn't pay with credit card, but a bank is in direct neighbourhood. We booked breakfast and it is served in their private house. So we could find out how Iceland people live.
Generally you have to take off your shoes when entering a hostel or a house in Iceland. The hostel is near the Geysir and the waterfall Gullfoss. It has been the best hostel we visited in Iceland."... more »
