"The statute of limitations on time elapsed since my stay at Lisakyle Hostel may render my opinion irrelevant; it was 1994 after all. But I will never forget the hospitality and kindness of Maurice Condon. I picked up a stomach virus somewhere ("out of the clear blue sky" as Mr. Condon explained with some authoritative finality) and spent the better part of two days lying on the floor of our room and periodically vomiting in the waste basket.
