"Unless you're a very wealthy person, you won't find a cleaner, cheaper, more hospitable place in Tegucigalpa. The location is five blocks from the city center and is one of the safest parts of the city. Tom, the owner, has lived in Honduras for twenty years and is a gruff, but well-meaning fount of knowledge. On any given night, the place is stocked with Brits, Australians, Norwegians, Swiss, or Germans planning out trips to Copan or the Bay Islands. The bar is reasonably priced, but, more importantly, it is safe."
