Baltimore Albergues

"Fantastic - This hostel was one of the best we've stayed in in the U.S.A.. we called the night before in mid September and they had room, which was great. The hostel is brand new, and has a lot to offer, brand new kitchen, en-suite bathrooms to the dorms, new beds and mattresses, and a lovely little courtyard at the back to sit in. The location is great, literally metres across the street to the Basilica cathedral, which is beautiful, and what's more, there was a proper supermarket around the corner with everything you could need to feed...  more »

"Don't let the two stars fool you. That is only a reflection of the difference between an absolute outstanding location and something that is awful. The place isn't that bad. This hostel is pretty much the only game in town if you are going to be in Baltimore, MD. Being a home hostel, it isn't all that big, but I found the manager of the place to be very kind and considerate to all travelers. There are two rooms with three beds each, one room for chicks and one for guys. Everyone shares the same bathroom (not all at once though). The...  more »
