"Sitka Youth Hostel is nested on top of hill --- less steep than Juneau but still high up. This hostel has an impersonal common area on the ground floor with two couches and some chairs. Meeting chairs around two meeting tables is the dining room and a pretty well-equipped kitchen where everyone has to be careful to use the correct drawers and fridge (part of the kitchen belongs to the next door church).
