It is a big hostel but it still retains a friendly atmosphere, as most likely as soon as you get in the door you will be shown a seat and given a with a cup of tea!
As there are no keys for this hostel, you have to ring the doorbell each time you go out and then wait for the... "It's a really nice place because its close to the Anfield road and the Stanley park. the rooms are really clean and the staff are really helpful. its also close to the city center, where pretty much of all major attractions are located. "I found the "service" to be amazing and I had to return a month later when again I had "nowhere" else to "sleep."" … "DO NOT stay here!!! This YMCA also doubles as a brothel (trust me), as we so unfortunately found out when we stayed there.
