"One of the best hostels I've ever been to! - Suzhou Mingtown is ideally located on Pingjiang Road, a small street running along one of Suzhou's canals, and one of the nicest streets in the city. The hostel is brand new and the dorms are really comfortable and clean. "Yet another hostel full of locals and ignorant what foreigners want - The hostel is indeed difficult to find. Call them to give you or your taxi driver directions. As in most YH nowadays, most guests are Chinese, which often results in unwelcome (read: disgusting) noises in the morning (they can't live without hawking and spitting apparently). Ths YH, like so many others, definitely doesn't have an 'international atmosphere'.
