"HI - Turgeon Intl Hostel - Regina Hostel seems just fine. We were by far the youngest guests there during our stay -- the other hostel guests were elderly (one chap seemed to be well into his eighties). Most likely though this is an oddity because there was a craftshow in town for traveling craftsmen and the like. This seems to be a fairly social hostel with legitimate backpackers for the most part.
