Antwerp Albergues   "Den Heksenketel Hostel is in a great location. It's right by Groen Plaats, and very easy to get to from the train station by either tram or underground. The area is very nice -- the cathedral is right there, and there are lots of cafes, restaurants, and bars.

The hostel is a 120 year corner house with original elements, a beautiful façade, trendily renovated by today's standards. You can sit outside and enjoy the...  "Although it may seem a little frightening, it is far from it! I will say that my first impression was not that great, but it could have been the fatigue from the 9-hour train ride prior to arriving. Anyhow, the people that run it are great and absolutely two of the friendliest people I'd met throughout my trip. If there is nothing to do (which is not often in this town full of bars and clubs)... "Hostel was ok. It was a bit out of town but close to a tram and bus stop. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was not a high point but at least it was there." … "The food was terrible. And please change the showers so you don't have to push the button all the time to make the shower run. Next time we'll visit a different youth hostel." … Peacefully located in a small park about...
