"This hostel had spacious double rooms with en suite, but it wasn't too clean. There was a fridge, a TV with bad reception, and old chewing gum on the bed. The kitchen is large, but we didn't use it. "We were looking for a cheap bed for a couple of nights and tried Kimberley Croc Backpackers because were told that it was awesome -- it did turn out to be. Phil, the guy who owns this place, picked us up from the Greyhound bus stop. He was there waiting for us as we arranged it online. It only took five minutes, though, and we could have walked it if we needed to. It is almost in the centre of the town and very close to all the shops and cafes. "Kununurra is the center of the East Kimberley region. If you came this far, you will be happy to find the comfortable Kununurra backpackers. It is a very big hostel, on a quiet street, a couple of minutes from the center. It has a free daily bus to Kelly's Knob, where you can watch the sunset in the evenings. It is also in a walking range from nearby Mirima (Hidden valley) National Park, about 2km each way (you'll choose if you want to walk there...it can be very hot).
