"Magnetic island Arcadia guest house - Arcadia guest house was pretty awesome, thanks to Russell and Bernadette. we stayed in a safari tent and it was nice and simple, there's tv, a pantry equipped with a microwave, fridge, and stove. The beds are comfy. Our hosts, Bernadette and Russell, were good! "Travellers is located on Picnic Bay, which has one of Magnetic Island's more attractive beachfront areas. The beach itself is equipped with a stinger net and has plenty of palm trees, which provide sun relief to the beach-goers. The building is in fair condition, and the rooms are rather tired. "I really enjoyed my stay here. The pool area was beautiful, the bar was nice. I liked my room, it wasn't the Hilton but it had great shower pressure and reading the graffiti on the bunks was enjoyable. I just laid by the pool all day and Magnetic Island is amazing!" … "Arkie's is pretty good. We stayed at Arkie's two times in a twin room with en suite. "Very nice - This one was great, if you want to chill out and so, because it's located in the less busy part of the island and so it's very quiet, just as the owner." … "For a start, the rooms are not cleaned every day! and the washing machines are one hundred years old! I spent two nights at this hostel in a double room, as the other hostel I wanted to stay at was full for the first two nights i was on the island. The room was clean, a bit smelly though! "Maggies Beach House is located on Horseshoe Bay of Magnetic Island. It is a large backpackers accommodation in a relatively new high-rise style building. The hostel features an outdoor pool and pool tables, and is just steps away from the beach. The dorm rooms are very basic, but clean and air conditioned.
