"Excellent stopover! - I and my two teenage children stayed here for two nights on 16 & 17 June 2006 during our seven-week odyssey Down Under. This was a perfect two-night rest up after a tiring train ride down from Darwin on the Ghan. A fantastic beginning to our incredible eight-day Wayward Bus tour to Adelaide. I highly recommend this to anybody wishing to have an excellent kitchen/dining area, sleeping, pool, responsive reception, and location. "Best hostel ever! - Very nice, clean, and modern hostel, definitely the best place to stay in Alice Springs. Good things about this hostel, nice reception and tour desk, internet (global gossip), nice and clean rooms, room get cleaned every day, en-suite bathrooms, good mattress, strong warm shower all the time (good after you come back from an uluru trip), long mirror in the the room and lots of powerpoints for everyone, nights weren't too cold (outside it's freezing), reception opens at 5 am til 8 p.m., the reception staff always makes...  more »

"I give Toddy's four stars due to having a very nice atmosphere and the dorms were perfectly fine. It's so relaxing to hang out around the lighted pool area at night, drinking or eating the cheap dinners. It is a walk to town but hey you get your exercise for the day, plus they rented me out a bike for cheap. The staff were super friendly, I found. "Friendly, Comfortable, Affordable - Personally I loved this Hostel, I stayed in a six-bed mixed dorm that was comfortable and clean. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and bend over backwards to help with anything. There are no annoying deposits to pay and the kitchen has everything you would ever need. There is a good TV room and book exchange, internet, payphone, laundry, and swimming pool. They organised a day trip to Uluru with Emu Run Tours for me and it was absolutely brilliant. "This hostel is fantastic. You have towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, milk and cold water, all supplied. It is one room with two bunks and a kitchen and bathroom. You have your own balcony with chairs. It is very clean and tidy — cleaners come every day. Although it is out of town there is a shuttle service, but there are also local amenities on site.
