Like Canberra itself, the hostel is very very clean (outside and inside). There are about three levels for two hundred sixty-four rooms, but just two are within reach by lift. Each of these levels has four very clean bathrooms -- two for women and two for men. The dorms are clean as well and you will find a TV and lockers in every dorm. There are four little kitchens on the ground floor that have... City Walk Hotel  "The City Walk was excellent. We stayed here for three nights and wished our Sydney hostel was more like it. It was very clean, had friendly staff, and the location is incredible--really, what more could you want? Canberra Travel Tips & Suggestions Comment by Anonymous Crime free and clean, this would be a great place to bring your family. Rock climbing and hiking can be had through a short trip out of town. Lots and lots of roos. Comment by Suzanne Canberra is a beautiful garden filled city. The government buildings are set in park-like surroundings. LOTS of walking is involved to get from place to place, but it is pretty. The war museum is particularly good. Comment by Anonymous Canberra is the oddest place I have been to in my life! I only really went to see some rugby and felt like I had walked onto a film set, everything is so new it looks fake. And when I got up on satuday morning to have a stroll around the town there was a distinct lack of people.
