"I highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling along the Rhine. We stayed here in September 2005 and really enjoyed our time at Jugendherberge Festung Ehrenbreitstein. Although there was a school group at the hostel during our stay we didn't really notice because we were in a small room that was located in separate building. Pros include great view of the Rhine (nice sunset), trials for running or walking, big breakfast, nicely priced. Cons include getting to the hostel -- you need to hike up a hill (not that bad, just be prepared!),... more »
