"The hostel is fantastic, probably one of the best I stayed in during my semester traveling Europe. After a day in Heidelberg, we booked a night at Schloss Ortenberg on a whim. To our surprise/delight, the hostel is actually IN a castle. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is filling. Tired after a week of travel, we were content to spend the later hours of the evening wandering the property. Ortenberg is about a 10-euro cab ride from the nearest train station at Offenburg.
