Lots of stuff to see in
, but the city basically shuts down at 9:00 PM. Go to Montreal for the night.
is the best place to eat sleep party and play!!! If you ever get into some hard core camping, with serious scenery, go to Algonquin, it's worth the drive!
If you go to
and like beaches, be sure to go to Sherkston Shores.
is very touristy, and there's not much to see asides from the main tourist strip. If you want to see the Falls, just one night, or even a day trip from Toronto is generally enough to get your fix of this place. There's the huge waterfall (you can take the Maid of the Mist boat right up close), and Clifton Hill which features numerous haunted houses, a Ripley's Believe it Or Not Mueseum, and a big arcade, amoung other things. The weather is generally very nice in the summer.
is the best place to get out and get lost in the lap of the Mother Nature.
There are plenty of fun things to do in
, regardless of the time of year (though it's a little chilly for those who are used to warmer weather -- make sure to bundle up if you visit in the winter!). The ByWard Market has a lot of nice restaurants. The clothing shops in the Market are pretty expensive, so I'd suggest heading to the Glebe for shopping. Bank St. has a lot of great stores. There are some great used book stores as well -- the Book Market in ByWard Market and the Book Bazaar on Bank St. The street vendors in the Market sell real wool hats, and alpaca wool hats as well! The National Gallery is worth a visit, as well as the Notre Dame across from it.
